Trueheart Kitchen

These cabinets and a kitchen renovation were commissioned for a 1898 Victorian adobe located in Fort Davis. The existing kitchen had been renovated in the late seventies and featured vinyl flooring, a drop ceiling, weathered cabinetry and outdated appliances. We pulled up the vinyl flooring and restored the original wood floors, removed the drop ceiling and installed new bead-board casing around the walls. We also built a new closet system to keep the washer/dyer and maid closet behind closed doors with custom cut steel grills. The bead-board cabinets were constructed in shop and outfitted with Blum undermount soft-close slides and hinges. All upper cabinetry has both under-cabinet lighting and up lighting to highlight the new bead-board ceiling.
